Trash Collection and Recycling Info at Oak Crest Estates
Oak Crest Estates is serviced by the ACUA and Hamilton Township Public Works department on a weekly or biweekly schedule.
Trash Collection Info
- Trash is collected every week on Mondays
- See Trash Collection Schedule
- Hamilton Township provides one gray, wheeled trash can per unit and other types are prohibited
- If you need an additional trash can (or replacement) you may order one from Public Works ($130)
- Bulk items are collected each Monday, but only 1-2 bulk items may be left per collection day
- Electronics do not count as regular/bulk trash. You may take electronics to the Township of Hamilton’s Lot (5500 Atlantic Ave) on the first Saturday of each month between 9am-12pm
- All receptacles may be placed in parking spot the evening prior to respective collection day and must be returned to rear of unit by 7:00pm on collection day to avoid a fine ($25 per container)
Recyclables Collection Info
- Recyclables are collected every two weeks on Fridays
- See ACUA Recycling Schedule
- If you need a recycling can, you may order one from the ACUA
- Household batteries may be recycled if stored in a clear bag and placed on top of the recycling can
- All receptacles may be placed in parking spot the evening prior to respective collection day and must be returned to rear of unit by 7:00pm on collection day to avoid a fine ($25 per container)
